Precision Iceblast Corporation cleaned the finned tube bundles in three Deltak Heat Recovery Steam Generators located in Balochistan, Pakistan. Precision Iceblast removed dirt, iron oxides, and mineral deposits from the outer surface of the spiral finned heat transfer modules on the end bundle (next to the stack) in each HRSG. Precision Iceblast Corporation used the patented tube spreading process and tools to penetrate deep into each of the bundles for a deep clean and provide the most optimal results. A total of two tube module faces were cleaned in each HRSG. Each face is approximately (24 ft x 57 ft). Resources used in the process were two high-pressure blasting guns (PIC 56XD’s), a high-pressure compressor, and four employees (one supervisor, one ice supplier, and two blasters) per shift. Precision Iceblast Corporation accessed areas via scaffolding. Upon completion of cleaning, debris from the HRSG was removed via barrel vacuums.
